For Josh Bannan forestry is in his blood - both his father and his uncle are foresters.

"There's everything under the sun to do in this industry", says this forestry graduate from Canterbury University. "If you enjoy dealing with people and don't mind getting your hands dirty every now and then, you might be the right type." Josh schedules the export of logs, for forestry company Rayonier New Zealand, from six New Zealand and two Tasmanian ports. He feels the forest industries offer great employment opportunities, "There's a major expansion due and we need a lot of people in all areas."
